## How do I get started with BankID?

[BankID](https://www.bankid.no) is integrated over the [OpenID Connect](https://openid.net/developers/how-connect-works/) standard for strong user authentication and digital signing.

BankID offers authentication at different [levels of assurance](https://docs.stoe.no/bankid-oidc-provider/core-concepts/identity-providers.md). Use the one that suits your needs and requirements.
